On 14th February, 1976, Miguel and José Pedraza fulfilled one of their dreams and opened what was an extremely high quality bar/restaurant at the time. The objective was to quickly turn it into a highly renowned restaurant.

This is how “Ruta del Veleta” was born.
To do so, they realised that they had to attend to their patrons in a different way and prepare bold dishes, both in terms of their composition and presentation.

This was an extremely demanding and complicated challenge, because they needed to educate the select clientèle in a new type of cuisine.
In the present day, the Ruta del Veleta restaurant is a hallmark in the sector.
